Getting kids to stop what they’re doing to eat lunch isn’t fun. But whether they’re busy coloring, building blocks, or otherwise engrossed, we’ve found a super-fun way to make them want to come to the table and see what’s on their plate!
This cement truck sandwich can be created with any sandwich fixings that your little one prefers. From peanut butter and jelly to ham and cheese, anything goes here! Cut up an apple to make it three-dimensional, and add some sandwich cookies for tires (and for a sweet treat). If you have a super picky one, you can go right by the picture and just stick with plain ole’ bread (don’t worry, they’ll get there eventually)!
