Cheese balls and cheese spreads are always popular at gatherings, and since they can be prepared well in advance of a party, hosts and cooks love them even more than their guests do!
This recipe is both amazing to look at and tasty to boot. Dill weed and bacon are a rather surprising flavor combination (traditionally, bacon is paired with cheddar or horseradish), but it works oh-so-well. You can use a baking pan shaped like a pinecone to make forming the cheese spread easier, or flop it onto a sheet of plastic wrap, flip that over, and work it until it’s a shape you like. And as a plus, this recipe works well with both crackers and raw vegetables, and assembly time is next to nothing. Enjoy!
