Fruit is a refreshing, low-calorie, go-to breakfast for many. And while it always tastes good, sitting down in front of the same exact bowl of fruit every single day can become decidedly tedious. Here’s how to freshen it up a bit!

Directions:

  1. Cut watermelon into large discs, removing the rind. With a paring knife, cut out the body (including the shape of the face), the tail, and the wings. If you can find one, cookie cutters in these shapes will smooth out the process (and save time).
  2. Arrange the pieces on a plate. Slice a strawberry into three sections according to the picture, and arrange these on the face.
  3. Toast one piece of bread, cut a few slices to create the feet, and serve the rest alongside your breakfast.

Eat this alone or with a few eggs for a well-rounded start to your day. Enjoy!
