Crepes are delicious, versatile, and often times overwhelming for the average home cook. This recipe makes it not only easy to create this classic French dish, but teaches you how to make it look like you’re straight out of cooking school!

The trick here is the slightly thinner-than-average batter, which allows you to use a squeeze tube to make the lace detail. And an extra-large, flat top griddle helps. Oftentimes, omelet size pans (and their curved edges) leave a limited amount of flat cooking space available, which is a no-go with these crepes. With the griddle, you have plenty of room to groove, and can even make a few of these at once, cutting down on the cooking time. Top with powdered sugar, fruit, syrup, or a combination of all three, and enjoy!
