For those new to bento lunches, this one is pretty easy (and perfect for the picky eater). Rather than follow an exact recipe, this can be adapted to anyone’s taste buds or whatever you usually pack for lunch. In a word, it’s very beginner-friendly.

This is a simple combination of sandwich, fruit, and treat. Cut the sandwich into the shape of a bird, and decorate the top with a baby piece of gouda cut in half and some mini-carrot pieces. Do the same with your favorite muffin (this recipe calls for a zucchini one), and top it all off with a side of mixed fruit. It’s simple, it’s healthy, and it’s easily adaptable. Add an all-natural fruit box, milk, or bottle of water, and you have a winner. Enjoy!
